About the Author

Deana CernigliaDeana holds a BA in Psychology, an MA in Special Education and a Teacher of the Handicapped Certification with experience in teaching at-risk, inner-city, emotionally disturbed high school students. She currently serves with Place of Hope, a Christian Foundation for children in the ever-failing foster care system, as well as First Care, a Christian foundation designed to support pregnant women who otherwise may choose abortion. Deana serves as Secretary for Missions Frontie, a U.S. based 501(c) 3, a non-profit corporation in Guatemala. Missions Frontier is able to assist the local people in God’s “Great Commission” by developing the gifts He has given each believer. Deana was ordained in December of 2007 as a deacon at First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach and serves on the Fellowship Committee.

Deana and her husband Chris have three children, Faye, CJ and Davis. They live in North Palm Beach, Florida along with their dog Socrates.
